RIGHTS IN WATER AND IRRIGATION ACT 1914

PROCLAMATION

WESTERN AUSTRALIA By His Excellency Major General Philip Michael

[L.S.] Cross, Governor of the State of Western Australia.

I, the Governor, acting under section 26B (1) of the Rights in Water and Irrigation Act 1914 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council—

1.  vary the proclamation declaring the Swan Groundwater Area, published in Gazette 26 September 1975 at pages 3717-8 and varied in Gazette 24 September 1982 at page 3786—

(a) by the inclusion of the areas known as areas (A) and (C), Swan Groundwater Area Varia- tion WRC3825-1-1—

(i)  contained within the borders outlined --------- and labelled (A) and (C) on plan WRC3825-1-1 held by the Water and Rivers Commission at its offices at 3 Plain Street, East Perth; and

(ii)   in relation to each area, defined by straight lines connecting the Australian Map Grid co-ordinates for zone 50 specified for that area on the annexure to the plan and ex- tending along those co-ordinates in a clockwise direction from the first co-ordinate back to that co-ordinate;

and

(b)

by the exclusion of the areas known as areas (B) and (D), Swan Groundwater Area Varia- tion WRC3825-1-1—

(i)

contained within the border outlined --------- on plan WRC3825-1-1 held by the Water and Rivers Commission at its office at 3 Plain Street, East Perth; and

(ii)

in relation to each area, defined by straight lines connecting the Australian Map Grid co-ordinates for zone 50 specified for that area on the annexure to the plan and ex- tending along those co-ordinates in a clockwise direction from the first co-ordinate back to that co-ordinate,

which areas are represented for information purposes in the plan in Schedule 1;

2.   vary the proclamation declaring the Perth Groundwater Area, published in Gazette 1 Decem- ber 1989 at pages 4380-1 and varied in Gazette 6 September 1991 at pages 4626-7 and 15 July 1994 at page 3572—

(a) by the exclusion of the areas known as areas (A) and (B), Perth Groundwater Area Varia- tion WRC3824-1-1—

(i)  contained within the border outlined --------- on plan WRC3824-1-1 held by the Water and Rivers Commission at its office at 3 Plain Street, East Perth; and

(ii)   in relation to each area, defined by straight lines connecting the Australian Map Grid co-ordinates for zone 50 specified for that area on the annexure to the plan and ex- tending along those co-ordinates in a clockwise direction from the first co-ordinate back to that co-ordinate;

and

(b)

by the inclusion of the area known as area (C), Perth Groundwater Area Variation WRC3824-1-1—

(i)

contained within the border outlined --------- and labelled (C) on plan WRC3824-1-1 held by the Water and Rivers Commission at its offices at 3 Plain Street, East Perth; and

(ii)

defined by straight lines connecting the Australian Map Grid co-ordinates for zone 50 specified for that area on the annexure to the plan and extending along those co-ordinates in a clockwise direction from the first co-ordinate back to that co-ordi- nate,

which area is represented for information purposes in the plan in Schedule 2; and

3.   cancel the proclamation declaring the Bullsbrook Groundwater Area to be a proclaimed area for the purposes of that section, published in Gazette 15 June 1990 at pages 2718-9.
