I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of clause 11 (6) of Schedule 3 to the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 25 October 2002 as the proclaimed date for the purposes of clause 11 of Schedule 3 to that Act.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to appoint 25 October 2002 as the proclaimed date for the purposes of clause 11 of Schedule 3 to the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986. Clause 11 allows old-style agreements to continue to be entered into. This Proclamation sets a cut-off date for old style agreements.

Explanatory note

This Proclamation is made under clause 11 (6) of Schedule 3 to the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986. Clause 11 is to be inserted into the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986 by Schedule 1 [14] to the Poultry Meat Industry Amendment (Price Determination) Act 2002 which commences on 11 October 2002.
