Commencement Proclamation

under the

Medical Practice Amendment Act 2008 No 27

JAMES JACOB SPIGELMAN, Lieutenant-Governor I, the Honourable James Jacob Spigelman AC, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Medical Practice Amendment Act 2008, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a)	1 August 2008 as the day on which that Act commences, except as provided by paragraph (b), and
(b)	1 October 2008 as the day on which Schedule 1 [18], [21] and [25]–[29] commence.
