Commencement Proclamation

under the

Miscellaneous Acts (Casino, Liquor and Gaming) Amendment
Act 2007 No 92

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Miscellaneous Acts (Casino, Liquor and Gaming) Amendment Act 2007, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2008 as the day on which that Act (other than Schedule 1 [5] to that Act) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the whole of the above Act on 1 July 2008 with the exception of an amendment (which commenced on 30 May 2008) to the Casino Control Act 1992 relating to the determination of devices as gaming machines.
