Commencement Proclamation

under the

Water Management Act 2000 No 92

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Water Management Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 4 February 2008 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)	Schedule 7 in its application to the Rivers and Foreshores Improvement Act 1948,
(b)	Schedule 8.2.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to repeal the Rivers and Foreshores Improvement Act 1948 and a provision of the Chipping Norton Lake Authority Act 1977 that applies the 1948 Act to the development area established by the 1977 Act.
