Commencement Proclamation

under the

Local Government and Environmental Planning and Assessment
Amendment (Transfer of Functions) Act 2001 No 93

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Local Government and Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Transfer of Functions) Act 2001, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 26 October 2007 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence, except for the following provisions:

(a)

Schedule 1 [4] to the extent that it omits item 4 from Part F of the Table to section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993,

(b) Schedule 2 [2], [3], [5] and [10B].

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Local Government and Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Transfer of Functions) Act 2001, except for provisions concerning the installation of domestic oil or solid fuel heating appliances.
