under the

Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2003 No 29

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2003, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 2006 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2003. More specifically, this Proclamation commences amendments to section 65 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 relating to the protection against self incrimination.
