under the

Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Amendment
Act 2006 No 60

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Amendment Act 2006, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2007 as the day on which that Act (with the exception of Schedule 1 [35]-[38]) commences.
