under the

Building Professionals Act 2005 No 115

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Building Professionals Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 3 March 2006 as the day on which section 96 of that Act and Schedule 3.2 [5], [6], [12], [18] and [19] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain amendments to the Environmental

Planning and Assessment Act 1979 relating to the following matters:

(a)	restrictions on imposing requirements to obtain compliance certificates through conditions of development consent or through the terms of complying development certificates,
(b)	the time at which a construction certificate must be issued in order to have effect,
(c)	relevant savings and transitional matters.
