under the

Crimes and Courts Legislation Amendment Act 2005 No 103

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (5) of the Crimes and Courts Legislation Amendment Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 24 February 2006 as the day on which Schedule 5 [8] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 that provides for the making, keeping and inspection of records relating to the detention of intoxicated persons under Part 16 of that Act.
