under the

Threatened Species Legislation Amendment Act 2004 No 88

JAMES JACOB SPIGELMAN, Lieutenant-Governor I, the Honourable James Jacob Spigelman AC, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Threatened Species Legislation Amendment Act 2004, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 29 September 2006 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments made by the Threatened Species Legislation Amendment Act 2004 that relate to the listing criteria under the Fisheries Management Act 1994 for critically endangered species, endangered species, vulnerable species, endangered populations, critically endangered ecological communities, endangered ecological communities and vulnerable ecological communities.
