under the

Home Building Amendment Act 2004 No 101

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Home Building Amendment Act 2004, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 2006 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Home Building Amendment Act 2004. The provisions concerned amend the Home Building Act 1989 and the Fair Trading Act 1987 and relate to the Home Building Advisory Council.
