under the

Property Legislation Amendment Act 2005 No 68

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Property Legislation Amendment Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 2006 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Property Legislation Amendment Act 2005. The provisions concerned amend the Real Property Act 1900 and relate to the recording, variation and release of easements, profits à prendre and restrictions on the use of land.
