under the

Gaming Machines Amendment Act 2005 No 78

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Gaming Machines Amendment Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 3 February 2006 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)	Schedule 1 [1],
(b)	Schedule 1 [30] to the extent that it inserts clause 31 into Schedule 1 to the Gaming Machines Act 2001.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain amendments contained in the Gaming Machines Amendment Act 2005 that relate to the special allocation of poker machine entitlements.
