under the

Local Government Amendment Act 2005 No 59

JAMES JACOB SPIGELMAN, Lieutenant-Governor I, the Honourable James Jacob Spigelman AC, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Local Government Amendment Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 28 April 2006 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Local Government Amendment Act 2005. The provisions concerned relate to the standard forms of contract for the employment of the general manager or other senior staff of a council.
