under the

Rookwood Necropolis Amendment Act 2004 No 108

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Rookwood Necropolis Amendment Act 2004, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 April 2005 as the day on which Schedules 1 and 3.2 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Rookwood Necropolis Amendment Act 2004. These provisions relate to the fees to be paid to the Joint Committee of Necropolis Trustees under that Act, and the returns to be made to that Committee, by the various reserve trusts and by the lessee of the general crematorium.
