under the

Health Legislation Amendment Act 2005 No 82

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Health Legislation Amendment Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 9 December 2005 as the day on which Schedule 3 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence Schedule 3 to the Health Legislation Amendment Act 2005. That Schedule amends the Podiatrists Act 2003 to allow regulations to be made in relation to infection control standards that are to be followed by podiatrists in the practice of podiatry.
