under the

Home Building Amendment Act 2004 No 101

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Home Building Amendment Act 2004, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 7 November 2005 as the day on which Schedule 6 [6] and [7] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Home Building Amendment Act 2004 with the exception of Schedule 5 [3] and Schedule 9.4. The provisions to be commenced relate to obligations of developers in relation to insurance. The uncommenced provisions relate to the Home Building Advisory Council.
