Proclamation

under the

Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime Amendment Act 2005

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime Amendment Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 28 October 2005 as the day on which that Act commences except for the following provisions:

(a)

Schedule 1 [1]–[4], [6], [16], [20]–[23], [25]–[30], [34], [37]–[72], [77], [78], [84], [97]–[103] and [105],

(b) Schedule 1 [8] (but only insofar as it inserts a definition of freezing notice).

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime Amendment Act 2005 (other than provisions relating to freezing notices and drug proceeds orders).
