under the

Poultry Meat Industry Amendment (Prevention of National
Competition Policy Penalties) Act 2005 No 48

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Poultry Meat Industry Amendment (Prevention of National Competition Policy Penalties) Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 October 2005 as the day on which that Act (except Schedule 1 [10]) commences.

Explanatory note

Section 2 (2) of the Poultry Meat Industry Amendment (Prevention of National Competition Policy Penalties) Act 2005 provides that Schedule 1 [10] to that Act is to commence on the day appointed under section 4 of the Farm Produce (Repeal) Act 1996 for the repeal of section 38 of the Farm Produce Act 1983.
