Proclamation

under the

Cancer Institute (NSW) Act 2003 No 14

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Cancer Institute (NSW) Act 2003, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 23 September 2005 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)	sections 26, 27 and 28,
(b)	Schedules 2 and 3.1.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Cancer Institute (NSW) Act 2003 that provide for the registration of the New South Wales Cancer Council as a company under the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth.
