under the

Criminal Procedure Further Amendment (Evidence) Act 2005
No 25

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Criminal Procedure Further Amendment (Evidence) Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 12 August 2005 as the day on which that Act (except Schedule 1 [5] and [7] and Schedule 2.1) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Criminal Procedure

Further Amendment (Evidence) Act 2005, other than the provisions of that Act relating to:

(a)	sensitive evidence, and
(b)	the closure of the court during sexual offence proceedings.
