under the

Independent Commission Against Corruption Amendment Act
2005 No 10

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Amendment Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2005 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Amendment Act 2005. The provisions concerned include provisions relating to compulsory examinations, public inquiries, functions of the Inspector of the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Inspector’s staff and certain other miscellaneous matters.
