under the

Civil Procedure Act 2005 No 28

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Civil Procedure Act 2005, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 24 June 2005 as the day on which sections 8 and 17 of that Act, and Schedule 2 to that Act, commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence those provisions of the Civil Procedure Act 2005 that deal with the constitution and procedure of the Uniform Rules Committee established under that Act, and with the approval by the Uniform Rules Committee of the forms to be used for the purposes of that Act.
