Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 No
103

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 December 2005 as the day on which that Act (except for Part 8A) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002, except for Part 8A (Use of police in-car video equipment). Part 8A was inserted by the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Amendment (In-car Video Systems) Act 2004 and commenced on 23 December 2004.
