Fisheries Management and Environmental Assessment
Legislation Amendment Act 2000 No 86

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fisheries Management and Environmental Assessment Legislation Amendment Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 December 2004 as the day on which Schedule 6.2 [12] and [13] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Fisheries Management and Environmental Assessment Legislation Amendment Act 2000. Those provisions prohibit any person from bringing into New South Wales live fish of certain species, except under the authority of a permit issued by the Minister.
