Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2002

MARIE BASHIR, Governor

I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2002, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 20 December 2002 as the day on which Schedule 4.1 [5] to that Act (and section 3 of that Act in its application to that item) commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 relating to the protection of approved medical specialists from personal liability.

This Proclamation is made under section 2 of the Workers Compensation Legislation

Amendment Act 2002.
