Courts Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2002 No 99

MARIE BASHIR, Governor

I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Courts Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2002, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 20 December 2002 as the day on which that Act (except for Schedules 1 and 4.1) commences.

Explanatory note
Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence all of the provisions of the Courts

Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2002, other than:

(a)

Schedule 1 (which relates to criminal, committal and application proceedings under the Criminal Procedure Act 1986 and the Local Courts Act 1982), and

(b)

Schedule 4.1 (whose commencement is dealt with separately in section 2 of the Courts Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2002).
