I, the Governor, acting under the Mining Legislation Amendment and Validation Act 2008 section 2(c) and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day after the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which Part 3 of that Act comes into operation.

Note: The Mining Amendment Regulations 2008 other than regulations 1 and 2
come into operation on the day on which the Mining Legislation Amendment
