I, the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor, acting under the Liquor and Gaming Legislation Amendment Act 2006 section 2 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix 1 August 2007 as the day on which sections 78 and 83 of that Act come into operation.

Note:  Under the Liquor Licensing Amendment Regulations 2007 regulation 2(b) and (c), regulations 18 and 19 of those regulations take effect on the day on which the Liquor and Gaming Legislation Amendment Act 2006 sections 78 and 83 respectively commence in accordance with this proclamation.
