Queensland Subordinate Legislation 1998 No. 245 Senate Elections Act 1960 PROCLAMATION I, MAJOR GENERAL PETER ARNISON, Governor, acting on the recommendation of the Executive Council, for the purpose of the election of senators for this State to the Senate of the Commonwealth— (a) fix the days stated in the schedule, part 1 for the matters stated in the part; and (b) appoint the place stated in the schedule, part 2 to be the place for the nomination of candidates.
