PROCLAMATION

WESTERN AUSTRALIA By His Excellency Lieutenant General John Murray

I, the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Firearms Amendment Act 2004 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council—

(a)

fix 1 January 2005 as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than sections 13, 17, 21, 22(4)(a) and 26, come into operation; and

(b)

fix 1 February 2005 as the day on which section 17 of that Act comes into operation.
