I, the Governor, acting under the Fire and Emergency Services Legislation Amendment Act 2012 section 2(b) and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council—

(a) fix 31 October 2012 as the day on which section 39 of that Act comes into operation; and

(b)

fix 1 November 2012 as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than sections 1, 2 and 39, come into operation.

Notes:

Under the Bush Fires Amendment Regulations 2012 regulation 2(b), the provisions of those regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation on the day on which the Fire and Emergency Services Legislation Amendment Act 2012 section 7 comes into operation.

Under the Emergency Management Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2012 regulation 2(b), the provisions of those regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation on the day on which the Fire and Emergency Services Legislation Amendment Act 2012 section 7 comes into operation.

Under the Fire and Emergency Services (Superannuation Fund) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2012 regulation 2(b), the provisions of those regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation on the day on which the Fire and Emergency Services Legislation Amendment Act 2012 section 97 comes into operation.

Under the Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia Amendment Regulations 2012 regulation 2(b), the provisions of those regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation on the day on which the Fire and Emergency Services Legislation Amendment Act 2012 section 7 comes into operation.

Under the Fire Brigades Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2012 regulation 2(b), the provisions of those regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation on the day on which the Fire and Emergency Services Legislation Amendment Act 2012 section 7 comes into operation.
