I, the Governor, acting under the Criminal Law Amendment (Criminal Property) Act 2004 section 2(2) and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day after the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which Part 3 of that Act comes into operation.

Note:  Under section 2(3) of the Parole and Sentencing Legislation Amendment Act 2006, section 71 of that Act will also commence on the day on which the Criminal Law Amendment (Criminal Property) Act 2004 Part 3 commences in accordance with this proclamation.
