I, the Governor, acting under section 3(3) of the Criminal Investigation (Extra- territorial Offences) Act 1987 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, vary the proclamation under that Act published in the Gazette on 12 May 1989 at page 1431 by deleting "Criminal Investigation (Extra-territorial Offences) Act 1985 of Queensland" and inserting instead—

Chapter 3 and Chapter 11 Part 3 Division 8 of the	Police Powers and
Responsibilities Act 2000 of Queensland
