Queensland Subordinate Legislation 1999 No. 124 Gaming Machine and Other Legislation Amendment Act 1999 [Act No. 8 of 1999] PROCLAMATION I, MAJOR GENERAL PETER ARNISON, Governor, fix 1 July 1999 for the commencement of the provisions of the Act stated in the schedule. Sections 3, 4(3) and (4), 5 to 7, 11, 12(1), (2), (4) to (7) and (9), 14, 15, 24, 26(1) to (3) and (7) to (15), 27, 29 to 31, 33 to 47, 49 to 52, 54, 55, 60, 67, 69(1), (2) and (4) to (6), 70 to 73, 76 to 79, 84, 88, 89, 91 to 96, 98, 99, 102, 104 to 108, 110 to 112, 116 and 119 to 121. 2. Section 4(1), other than to the extent it omits the definitions “information notice”, “licensed machine manager” and “machine manager”. 3. Section 4(2), to the extent it inserts a definition that is relevant to the operation of the Gaming Machine Act 1991 after the commencement of this proclamation. 4. Section 9, to the extent it omits section 31 and inserts new sections 30A and 31. 5. Section 21, to the extent it omits sections 55 and 57(5) and inserts new sections 55, 55A and 57D. 6. Section 25, to the extent it omits section 63 and inserts new section 63(1), (2), (4) and (5). 7. Section 32, to the extent it inserts new section 68A. 8. Section 48, to the extent it inserts new section 72ZVA. 9. Section 69(3), to the extent it omits section 92(2) to (7) and inserts new section 92(2), (3), (5) and (6). 10. Section 74, to the extent it inserts new section 96A. 11. Section 100(2), to the extent it inserts new section 163(3). 12. Section 122, to the extent it inserts new part 11, division 2 heading.
