I, the Governor, acting under the Children and Community Services Amendment (Reporting Sexual Abuse of Children) Act 2008 section 2(b) and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix 1 January 2009 as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than sections 1 and 2, come into operation.

Note: Under regulation 2(b) of the Children and Community Services Amendment Regulations 2008, those regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation on the day on which the Children and Community Services Amendment (Reporting Sexual Abuse of Children) Act 2008 section 5 comes into operation.
