I, the Governor, acting under the Child Care Services Act 2007 section 2(b) and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day after the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than sections 1 and 2, come into operation.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the State on 31 July 2007.

Note—

1. Under the Interpretation Act 1984 section 25(3), the following regulations take effect on the day on which the Child Care Services Act 2007 section 52 commences in accordance with this proclamation—

• the Child Care Services Regulations 2007;

the Children and Community Services (Child Care) Amendment Regulations 2007;
the Children and Community Services (Family Day Care) Amendment Regulations 2007;
the Children and Community Services (Outside School Hours Care) Amendment Regulations 2007;
the Children and Community Services (Outside School Hours Family Day Care) Amendment Regulations 2007.

2. Under regulation 2(b) of the Children and Community Services Amendment Regulations 2007, those regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, commence on the day on which the Child Care Services Act 2007 section 65 commences in accordance with this proclamation.
