I, the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Bail Amendment Act 1998 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day after the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which Parts 2, 3 and 5, other than section 12, of that Act come into operation.
