Proceeds of Crime Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Proceeds of Crime Act 1987.

1.   Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on the date of commencement of Part 3 of the Competition Policy Reform Act 1995.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Proceeds of Crime Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 16 (Law enforcement projects—prescribed law enforcement agencies)

3.1   After paragraph 16 (b), insert:

• “(ba)

  the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission”.

3.2   Paragraph 16 (l):

Omit the paragraph.
