T r)E it enacted by the King’s Most E.\;cellcnt Majesty, _ D by and n itb the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Kew South IValcs in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows ;—

1 . This Act may he cited as the “ Probate Duties sh o rt title.

2 . Tlie provisions of Part I I I of the Stamp Duties Exemption

Act, 1898, as amended by Part I I I of the Stamp Duties

esta tes.

(Amendment) ^Vet, 1904, and by P:irt I I I of the Stamp Duties (Amendment) Act, 1914, and the provisions of the Companies (Death Duties) Act, 1901, shall not iipply or be deemed to have applied to the estate of any person who during the present war, or Avithin one year iifter its termination, has died or may hereafter die on aetAe service or as a result of injury received or diseases eonti’acted on active service Avith tlic Military or Kaval Forces of the CommouAvealth of Australia or of any part of the King’s Dominions, or any estate the subject of any settlement, trust, disposition, conveyance, trans­ fer, vesting, purchase, investment, or gift made or caused to be made by any person so dying.
