Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Private Parking Areas (Expiation Fees) Amendment Regulations 2022.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2022.

Part 2—Amendment of Private Parking Areas Regulations 2014

3—Amendment of regulation 7—Purpose other than parking

Regulation 7, expiation fee—delete "$56" and substitute:

4—Amendment of regulation 8—Damage to signs etc

Regulation 8, expiation fee—delete "$103" and substitute:

5—Amendment of regulation 10—Owner and driver guilty of offence

Regulation 10, expiation fee—delete paragraphs (a) to (d) (inclusive) of the expiation fee and substitute:

(a)for an alleged contravention of regulation 4(1)(a)—$56;

(b)for an alleged contravention of regulation 4(1)(b)—$69;

(c)for an alleged contravention of regulation 5—$89;

(d)for an alleged contravention of regulation 6—$87.

6—Amendment of regulation 11—Further offence each hour

Regulation 11, expiation fee—delete "$55" and substitute:
