Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Private Hospitals and Day Procedure Centres Act 1988.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Private Hospitals Regulation 1996 and the Day

Procedure Centres Regulation 1996 to increase the following fees:

(a)	the application fees for licences for private hospitals and day procedure centres,
(b)	the annual licence fees for private hospitals and day procedure centres,
(c)	the application fees for the transfer of licences for private hospitals and day procedure centres.

The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index. including sections 8 (Application for licence), 17 (Annual licence fees), 18 (Transfer of licence to another licensee) and 55 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Private Hospitals and Day Procedure Centres
Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2007.

2 Amendment of Private Hospitals Regulation 1996

The Private Hospitals Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.

3 Amendment of Day Procedure Centres Regulation 1996

The Day Procedure Centres Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in
Schedule 2.

Omit “$755” from clause 7 (b). Insert instead “$775”.
