HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Private Hospitals and Day Procedure Centres Act 1988, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The object of this Regulation is to introduce a substitute fonn of monthly statistics to be given to the Director-General of the Department of Health by each day procedure centre.
The new form is more comprehensive and contains information whch the Department of Health needs to meet its obligation under the Medicare Agreement to report admissions to day procedure centres in New South Wales.
This Regulation is made under section 55 (Regulations) of the Private Hospitals and
Day Procedure Centres Act 1988 (and in particular section 55 (2) (b) (ii)).
