HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Private Hospitals and Day Procedure Centres Act 1988, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 29th January, 1993.

Amendment

2. The Private Hospitals Regulation 1990 is amended by omitting from clause 6 (b) the matter “$555” and by inserting instead the matter “$525”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Section 8 (2) of the Private Hospitals and Day Procedure Centres Act 1988 provides that an application for a licence for a private hospital or a day procedure centre is to be accompanied by such application fee as may be prescribed by the

regulations.

The object of this Regulation is to amend clause 6 (b) of the Private Hospitals Regulation 1990 to decrease the application fee for a licence for a private hospital from $555 to $525.
