I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Private Hospitals and Day Procedure Centres Act 1988, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 1993 as the day on which section 37 of that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Proclamation is to commence section 37 of the Private

Hospitals and Day Procedure Centres Act 1988, which provides a penalty for conducting an unlicensed day procedure centre. The section is the only uncommenced section of the Act.
