1Name of Rules

These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses) Amendment Rules 2011 (No. 1).

2Commencement

These Rules commence on 21 February 2011.

3Amendment of the Schedule to the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses) Rules 2011 (No. 1)

These Rules amend the Schedule to the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses) Rules 2011 (No. 1),as set out below:

  1. 3.1

    Part A – Prostheses, at page 363 of 920, after subheading “Group 05h - Uncemented, plasma, HA, short and standard lengths, no modularity” insert subheading “B Braun Australia Pty Ltd”.

  2. 3.2

    Part A – Prostheses, at page 363 of 920, after subheading “B Braun Australia Pty Ltd” under the heading “Billing Code” insert “BB274”; under the heading “Product Name” insert “Excia Hip System”; under the heading “Description” insert “plasma titanium, HA”; under the heading “Size” insert “8mm – 18mm”; and under the heading “Minimum Benefit” insert “$5000.00”.
