This instrument is the
Private Health Insurance (Medical Devices and Human Tissue Products) Amendment Rules (No. 1) 2023 .
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under item 4 of the table in section 333‑20 of the
Private Health Insurance Act 2007 .
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Omit “$5,460”, substitute “$4,090”.
Repeal the subsection, substitute:
(2) The economic assessment fee is
:
(a) if the simple fee applies (see subsection (3))—$8,940; or
(b) if the complex fee applies (see subsection (4))—$17,080; or
(c) if the other fee applies (see subsection (5))—$27,940.
Omit “$4,670”, substitute “$3,300”.
Omit “business”.
