Part 1Preliminary

1.Name of Rules

These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Amendment Rules 2015 (No. 1).

2.Commencement

These Rules commence on:

1. (a)

   20 March 2015; or

(b) if registered after 20 March 2015, the day after registration.

3.Amendment of the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2010 (No. 2)

The Schedule amends the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2010 (No. 2) as amended.

Delete subparagraphs 8A(3)(a)(ii) – 8A(3)(viii), substitute:

1. (ii)

   New South Wales - $56.90;

2. (iii)

   Northern Territory - $56.90;

3. (iv)

   Queensland - $56.90;

4. (v)

   South Australia - $56.90;

5. (vi)

   Tasmania - $56.90;

6. (vii)

   Victoria - $56.90;

7. (viii)

   Western Australia - $56.90;

Delete paragraph 8A(3)(b), substitute:

(b) in relation to a nursing-home type patient at a private hospital, $56.90.
