Schedule ― Amendments4

Part 1Preliminary

1.Name of Rules

These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Amendment Rules 2008 (No. 2).

2.Commencement

These Rules commence on:

(a) 20 September 2008; or

(b) if these Rules are registered after 20 September 2008 – on the day after the Rules are registered.

3.Amendment of the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2008 (No. 2)

The Schedule amends the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2008 (No. 2).

Schedule – Amendments

[1]Part 2, Paragraph 8A(3)(c)

Delete subparagraphs 8A(3)(c)(ii) to 8A(3)(c)(vii), substitute:

(ii) New South Wales―$40.15;

(iii) Northern Territory―$40.80;

(iv) Queensland―$40.80;

(v) South Australia―$40.80;

(vi) Tasmania―$40.80;

(vii) Victoria―$40.80;

[2]Part 2,Paragraph 8A(3)(d)

Delete paragraph 8A(3)(d), substitute:

(d) in relation to a nursing‑home type patient at a private hospital, $40.80.
